- Originally from Ohio, but moved to TN when I got married about 3 yrs ago. Been riding practically my entire life. In Ohio, I mainly rode English but also tried barrel racing and team penning. Bought my Paint horse, Dakota, in Ohio as a yearling. He was born at the farm I was working for at the time and we bonded. Never thought I would own a Paint! SInce then, I have accumulated some other animals such as a goat and 2 sheep that I rescued. Not to mention dogs and cats! We love to go trail riding...and by we I mean the dogs, goat and sheep as well (as long as we stay on our property)
